Dr. Charles S. Spivey, Sr., editor of Religious Literature for the AME Church, from Nashville, Tenn. will preach the Men's Day sermon Sunday at the morning worship services, at Allen Temple AME Church, where Rev. J. A. Middleton is pastor.
Looking forward to a great Men's Day observance the men of Allen Temple are inviting their many friends to come out and hear this distinguished scholar and churchman.
Directing the Men's Day activities will be Dr. R. L. Chamberlain, chairman, and A. J. Welch, co-chairman.
Singing will be the Male Ensemble, with Mrs. Mary Shy Scott, at the organ and Wesley Baugh at the piano.
At 6 p.m. Choir No. 1 will present a concert under the direction of Prof. Colonius Davis.
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. with Alfred Scott, superintendent.
