Full Text

A meeting was held at the Presbyterian church last Wednesday night under the auspices of the Women's Missionary Society of that church. Rev. G. K. Rogers, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Woodward, his wife and small son were present. A splendid sermon was delivered by Rev. Rogers and special music, furnished by the choir, added greatly to the meeting. A mixed quartette, "In the Garden," by Mrs. V. T. Coles, Mrs. W. T. Quinn, Alpha Pfost and V. T. Coles was splendid. Rev. Rogers spoke in very complimentary terms of the choir which is another proof that Beaver has splendid musical talent. While here Rev. and Mrs. Rogers were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Laughrin. They returned to Woodward after dinner Thanksgiving Day.
