PRESBYTERIAN GENERAL ASSEMBLY.—According to notice given yesterday, the Rev. Robert T. Breckenridge, of Baltimore, offered the following resolution: Resolved, That a committee of ten members, an equal number of whom, shall be from the majority and minority of the vote on the resolutions to cite inferior Judicatories, be appointed on the state of the church, whose duty it shall be to report a plan for the voluntary division of the Presbyterian church. The resolution was adopted, and the following gentlemen were nominated by a committee appointed for that purpose, viz: Messrs. Breckenridge, Alexander Cuyler, Witherspoon, Ewing, McAuly, Bevan, Peters, Dickenson, and Jessup.
