Full Text

County Hospital—A. B. Crawford, M. D., the skillful Physician and Surgeon and accomplished gentleman who has had the County Hospital in charge for the last year has given way to his successor, Dr. Boucher of Volcano. It is but due to Dr. Crawford to say that, during the year that he has had charge of the Hospital owing to the system and discipline which he instituted, it has been in unprecedented good condition. Our Board of Supervisors have purchased the residence, grounds and buildings of J. Lovell, near the old Hospital where for the present, at least the County Hospital will be located. They paid $350, and as respects the improvements the price was certainly a low one.
Dr. Boucher, the new physician, is well qualified for the position, and will no doubt render satisfaction to the people.
