Plans were made at the noon luncheon of the Chamber of Commerce Tuesday to invite all legislators to next Tuesday's luncheon and present them with a program of the musts for this session of the legislature.
Dr. Langsam brought up the matter of poor heat and ventilation at the city jail and urged the chamber members to visit the cell block and see for themselves the present condition of the quarters.
Councilman Walsh stated that better heat could be provided but the location was the best the city could provide in the present building.
President Harwood announced a board meeting would be held on Wednesday evening to arrange for the annual C of C banquet and election of officers.
A discussion was held on the meeting of the CAB in relation to the States-Alaska case scheduled for some time this month.
