Multiplicity of Bicycle Riders.
The extension of the bicycle in popularity-it is estimated that about 750,000 machines will be in use in the United States and Canada next year-does not please some of the former wheelmen. Said one of them: "Yes, I own a wheel, and I used to get some pleasure in riding it two or three years ago. I could get out on the country roads and be fairly sure to be alone, but now the fellows are as thick everywhere ten miles from town as they are in the parks. There is no fun for me any more in wheeling, since everybody owns a bicycle."-New York Sun.
