Paris, August 1.

Letters from Madrid say,—"The Embassador Truguet, before quitting Spain, made his farewell to the republicans resident at Madrid, by celebrating with them the 14th of July, in a manner worthy of the great event, which that day recalls to our minds.—He fulfilled this obligation with the more willingness, on account of his successor, Citizen Guillemardet, who had been arrived for some days past, not having been yet installed in his new establishment, which rendered it impossible for him to acquit himself of that important duty."
