BALTIMORE, April 6.

We learn, by captain Long, that the French fleet had visited: St. Kitts and Nevis, and stormed Tortola. On the two former places they laid heavy contributions—Report said four millions livres, which they received and sailed. They passed Bassaterre the day captain Long sailed, on their way to attack St. Lucie. They had made no attack on Antigua. Captain Smith, of the ship Ardent, had been liberated, and intended to go to Barbadoes to attend the trial of his ship.
