Opinion of an Editor's Veracity
From the Cadiz (Ohio) Organ.
We do not know when our pride of personal character was so much hurt as last week, when we were asked by a subscriber, after our paper had been issued, to give him, privately, a true statement of the result of the Virginia elections. This request he made, so he said, that he might learn the result of the elections; "for I see you and the Sentinel make statements as wide apart as the east is from the west, and I know it is the custom of editors to hold out false lights to the People."
