AT MICKVA ISRAEL.
The Children of the Sunday School Stand Examinations.

The children of the Mickva Israel Sunday school went through with their yearly examinations yesterday on the curriculum of the school, and some remarkably good averages were made.

The general average of the school was better than it has been in some years.

The teachers of the different classes were highly gratified by the showing the scholars made, and it will be a hard matter to decide to whom the prizes should be awarded.

There are about 140 children in the school and 11 classes. In one class of 13 children 11 of them made an average of 100, and in another class of 10 7 made the same average. It will be a hard matter for the officers of the school to decide in these cases to whom the prizes belong.
