A runaway gravel car which broke away at Granite Canon and ran into Cheyenne Thursday, made the 19 miles in a little more than 8 minutes, a speed of 142 miles an hour.
Miss Bessie Murray's condition remains unchanged. If she is strong enough for the journey, an attempt will be made next week to take her to Denver to a hospital.
Frank Wright returned Thursday from Creston, Iowa, where he accompanied the remains of Clyde Jones, the young man who was drowned near Fort Steele a few weeks ago.
