A letter from Cork says, that the Hannibal, Capt. Frazier, is arrived there from New-York, but last from Halifax in 28 days. The Capt. says, that he found no demand for any part of his cargo at New-York. and therefore steered for Halifax, where he found a quick sale for his whole cargo, as goods manufactured in Ireland are in great esteem there: and that according to what he could learn, it is the most flourishing place for trade in all that part of the world. He adds, that Nova-Scotia is crowded with inhabitants from all parts, on account of the great plenty of every necessary of life, and that new houses are continually building.
