French Elections.

At Montmorency, in the beautiful valley of that name, the Primary Assembly refused to hear the Address of the Directory read, because the sovereign people, said they, can receive neither order nor advice from any one.

At Enicle, near Paris, and in the Department of the Seine and Oise, the Primary Assembly would not admit the Address of the Executive Directory, and Minister of Police, to be read, on the principle that it has neither order nor advice to receive from any person whatever.
