John Elliott Named
Assistant Dairyman

The appointment of John Elliott of Windsor, son of the late Joseph Elliott of Abington and Mrs. Joseph Elliott of George street in Putnam, to succeed G. C. Graf as assistant dairyman in the Agricultural Extension Service at the University of Connecticut was announced by President Albert N. Jorgensen. The new appointee will assume his duties on January 16th.

Graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1934. Elliott was herd superintendent at the Connecticut State Farm for Women for four and one-half years and farm manager of the Mansfield Training School for five years. He has also been employed as farm superintendent of the Imperial Agricultural Corporation, Bloomfield and as a tester for the New London County Dairy Herd Improvement Association.
