PROVIDENCE, Nov. 12.

Wednesday last arrived in town, from New-Hampshire, Capt. Cass, and Ensign Sullivan, with 36 Recruits, and one Volunteer, being the remainder of the company raised in that State; and on Thursday they embarked, together with a Detachment belonging to Capt. Hughes's company, for New-Brunswick, on their Route to join the second United States regiment at Head-Quarters, Fort-Washington.

It is with pleasure that we add our testimony in favor of the exemplary behaviour of Capt. Cass's troops;--and when we reflect, in general, upon the talents and respectability of the officers of the second Regiment, we cannot but anticipate their future Eminence in the profession of arms.
