The Fisheries.—A letter from Washington of the 3d inst. from an unquestionable source of information says—"The bill respecting allowances to vessels employed in the Cod Fisheries was passed before the adjournment. By this bill $3.50 per ton is allowed to boats from 5 to 30 tons—vessels over 30 to receive $4 per ton, provided no vessel shall receive more than $360 for one fishing season, or allowance granted according to tonnage up to 90 tons—lastly, vessels carrying not less than 10 men and employed as aforesaid, less than 4 months, but not less than 3 months to be allowed 350 dollars per ton."—Newburyport Herald.
