The Constitutional Convention.
Albany, June 27.—The clause committee of the constitutional convention has adopted the form of words in which it proposes to submit to the convention the constitutional amendment for separating municipal from state and federal elections. The amendment reads as follows: "All elections of city officials in all cities and of county officers in the counties of New York and Kings and in all counties whose boundaries are the same as those of the city, except to fill vacancies, shall be held on Tuesday succeeding the first Monday in November in an odd numbered year, and the terms of such officers shall expire at the end of the same odd numbered year."
