NEW YORK. October 11.

Wednesday Morning last another Prize Brig called the La Providence, bound from Cape Francois for Bourdeaux, was brought in here by the Flying Harlequin, Captain Wright, of this Port, and taken the 10th of Sept. off Ackland's Keys, 3 Days after Capt. Wright took that mentioned in our last. Her Cargo consisted of 96 Hogsheads, 8 Tierces and 24 Barrels of white Sugar ; 25,000 lb. of Coffee, and 34 Casks of Indigo. When Capt. M'Cutchin, (who came in Prize Master) left the Harlequin she was in Sight of a Snow one of the Fleet, and it was expected she would soon be up with her as she rowed with 22 Oars and but little Wind.
