FED. HOUSING OFFICIAL INSPECTS SEWARD PROJECT

V. L. Logan, project engineer of the Federal Housing Authority in Juneau made an inspection of the Seward Veterans' Housing Project Thursday and Friday.

Mr. Logan after conferring with City Engineer Tex Brinkworth and Fred Howard, and examining blue prints and construction which was begun August 16, announced his approval of the progress being made. Mr. Logan expects to make periodic inspections of the work as it goes forward.

Fred Howard, to whom the contract was let, is adding to his staff of workers every day but is still in need of additional help. Mr. Howard is trying to employ as many local men as possible before advertising for workers from outside.
