We would advise Mr. Ritchie to rub up his specs; such mistakes are quite as "odious" as the "bankrupt bill" would have been with Mr. Van Buren's desired restriction of its benefits to a particular class of citizens!

Richmond Enquirer charged Gen. Harrison with voting for the odious bankrupt bill while Mr. Van Buren voted against it. Correction: Gen. Harrison voted for extending bankruptcy privilege to all classes with consent.
