MURDER.
We learn that on Sunday last, on Crooked creek, Nicholas county, a Mr. Runey was stabbed in the right side by a certain Thomas Smith, of which wound he expired on Tuesday evening, and Smith has made his escape.
Smith is about five feet 7 or 8 inches high, about 30 years old, dark complexion, black eyes, square shouldered and stooping neck; very profane and vulgar in his language, and has a sickly appearance. The brothers of the deceased offer a liberal reward for the apprehension of the murderer.--Western Citizen.
