Full Text

Hague, Nov. 4. The Mail which the Master of the English Packet, lately taken, threw over board, was driven by the Waves to the Shore of Scheveling. This would have been the best Booty the French could have made; for the Dispatches sent to General York and to Germany, pointed out the Destination of the Expedition Fleet. Curious Persons and Patriots are, as one may say, upon the Watch, near the British Minister's House, in order to pick out, if possible, some Information concerning the Design of this Armament. Speculative Politicians give out, in a positive Strain, which almost commands Belief, that the Landing will be at Embden, whither the Hereditary Prince of Brunswick will march with twenty five or thirty Thousand Men; and from his Anglo Hanoverian Camp, under Capital of East Friesland, his Serene Highness will write to their High Mightinesses. Such as don't pretend to see so far into the Matter assert, that the Destination is not changed; but that, instead of going to make a Conquest, the twenty four Thousand English Troops will go and make a Diversion in Flanders.
