[Someone's] son, Terry of Globe, brought Carol Ann Grier home from Camp Jordan and spent the Fourth of July at the Stevens' Bar 11 Ranch.

Word has been received that Mrs. Gladys Swyers underwent major surgery in California June 16th and to date is doing very well.

Beti Fortune will return home to the ranch this weekend after attending the first five week summer session at the U. of A.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sanford took Miss Virginia Hay home Wednesday on her arrival here from Tucson.

Harvey Hedgecock and Vernon Schmidt were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brainerd. Harvey is returning shortly to school and Vernon to the service.

Many boxes of clothing have been contributed to the Dorcas Welfare Society the past month. Some were from Nogales and Canelo. Mrs. Vivian McCarthy and Mrs. Milton Tinnel and daughter, Martha, have contributed their help in the making and repairing of garments.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scott of Paradise, Calif., who have been in Tombstone for some time visited the Mays the past week end.

Instead of the regular eleven o'clock sermon Sabbath, July 3rd, at the Patagonia S. D. A. church, Mrs. Nadia Banta, leader conducted a Missionary Volunteer program. Miss Mary Gray Sorrells gave a reading and Mrs. Banta a talk.

Wayne Kirkham, older son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kirkham is in the Navy, stationed at San Diego.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Salga are making their home on the Nancy Drake ranch.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kenney and family and Mrs. Ruby Amalong spent the Fourth of July in Tucson.

Mrs. Wayne Wright and one of her children from Elgin were in town Friday.

Mrs. Jack Turner's birthday, July 2, was celebrated the evening before with home made ice cream and watching the ball game of the Cowboys and Indians over TV at the Bill Watson home.

The A. Benzigers and the George Palkes of Canelo were in Patagonia Thursday and Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bohn spent the Fourth of July week end at Pinetop fishing.
