YES, WE HAVE SOME BANANAS.

A ship arrived in Charleston the other day with over 26,000 bunches of bananas. Another ship arrived Sunday with 30,000 cocoanuts. The revival of the fruit trade in Charleston is a matter of interest and satisfaction to all the people of the state. Charleston, if there were no such thing as politics in this good old U. S. A., would be America's leading port of foreign entry, but our fine old city has a lot of obstacles to overcome under the present regime. However it looks as if Charleston is going to come to the front in spite of its political disadvantages. Here's to you, Charleston—we wish for you the port business your fine facilities deserve and ought to have.
