Guests at the Wm. Rennie home in Sidney on Thanksgiving were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Berry, Wayne and Craig, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dore, Louise Dore and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Gable, Billy and Susan.
The lunch committee for the Christmas party of the Hay Creek Busy Bees met at the Garfield Linde home on Thursday evening.
Sunday dinner guests at the Dallas Ullman home were Mr. and Mrs. Grover Henninger and Mrs. Fred Kooken of Fairview.
Koffee Kup Klub was entertained at the home of Mae Berry on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 3. The ladies present enjoyed the afternoon sewing and visiting after which a delicious lunch was served.
The Country Woman's Club held their Christmas Party at the Scoop Dore home on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 11. After the business meeting the ladies and pre-school children exchanged gifts and a delicious pot luck lunch was enjoyed by all.
Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ullman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Berndt and Mr. and Mrs. Sigurd Rudie were among those attending the dedication services of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Fairview on Sunday.
Mrs. Deva Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hillman and family attended a memorial service at the R.L.D.S. Church in Fairview in memory of Mrs. Gene DeBarth Phillips, on Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Phillips, a sister of Mrs. Hillman, passed away recently at Independence, Mo.
Mrs. W. T. Henderson and baby daughter, Debra Dee, came home from the hospital on Saturday.
Mrs. Walt Houchen, Larry and Brenda and Ed Houchen were dinner guests at the Charles Houchen home in Sidney on Friday.
Arlene Henderson was an overnight guest of Kay Thomas and Elaine Henderson was an overnight guest of Marlys Woodworth of Fairview on Saturday.
