Crowley Favoring Hull As President

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 28 (UP)—Karl A. Crowley, U. S. postoffice solicitor, said yesterday that Secretary of State Cordell Hull is the "best equipped man to succeed Mr. Roosevelt as president."

"There is no man in America better equipped to take the place of our great president," Crowley said. "He is a practical disciple of peace and truly one of the great men of the country. He is the balance wheel and right hand of President Roosevelt."

Crowley spoke to 1000 delegates at a postal supervisor's meeting.
