HONOLULU, Nov. 16.—In a luncheon address yesterday evening, Baron Ishii, special ambassador from Japan to the United States, who is now returning home after the successful ending of his mission, declared that there is not any doubt about the allies winning from Germans. America's attitude of determination to win at any cost insures this success. Germany would save time, money and men by yielding now, for she will eventually be forced to accept the terms which the United States will give her," he declared.
The noted Japanese statesman was highly impressed with American preparations, such as he was able to see, and the spirit in which America is assuming her part in the struggle is what he termed "ideal."
The Japanese mission today visited the tomb where the remains of former Queen Liliuokalani have been placed temporarily and placed a wreath upon the casket as a token of Japan's honor and respect for the late monarch.
