The Kanawha Daily News says we are pained to have again to record another horrible accident on the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. The bridge on Davis Creek, about five miles from this city, broke in two yesterday morning about 10 o'clock. A number of men were at work on the bridge which was being strengthened preparatory to the passing of the first train over the road at this point. Without any warning the false trestle gave way, breaking in the middle, and from both ends of the bridge the men were precipitated into the creek, some above and some below the fallen timbers. We have not time in this issue to give all the particulars, which will appear in our next. The following is a list of the killed and wounded:
KILLED
Charles Moss, Joseph Stephens.
INJURED
George Burke, Coleman S. Hensley.- John F. Arne, Richard Bryant, E. F. Reed, A. G. Hensley, George Brogan.
