Full Text

We commend to our readers the admirable review of the speaking at the "Grand Rally," on the 1st July. It is written by a well known and talented native of this county, and we regret that it was not received in time for publication at an earlier date.

The attention of our readers is called to the advertisements of Messrs. Parkinson & Broughton, in to-day's paper.

We have, in this number, devoted more than usual space to our neighbors of the Correspondent. In consequence of mail failures, there has been a dearth of news during the past week, and as our bag must be regularly filled, we have been compelled to "make game" of young pokes.
