WRITEUP OF NED HATATHLI IN PHOENIX GAZETTE

Ned Hatathli, commercial '47, is the subject of a story in the October 10 issue of The Phoenix Gazette. Ned is a senior at Arizona state college at Flagstaff, working toward a degree in education.

Ned is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Kappa Phi Kappa, national and professional education honorary fraternities, as well as Phi Eta Sigma, another honorary organization, and Mu Alpha Delta, the local organization. He is a pledge to the Blue Key, national honorary fraternity.

While he works at oil paintings and making moccasins as a sideline, Ned hopes to be some day a social worker among his tribesmen, the Navajos.

His wife and two small daughters live with him on the college campus.
