Starched Collar Called Instrument of Torture

Instrument of Torture thrust. That the starched collar is an instrument of torture, a strait jacket for the neck, and must disappear is the first article in the by-laws of the Anti Collar League, recently organized in Paris. The founders are men of some note, but the collarless fashion is making timid progress. At the recent meeting of the league Antoine, a noted author and social critic, was elected president and an executive committee. Photographers in it. When the picture was taken it was found "government of sight" on the committee. Russians had to tie the last.
