HOLTVILLE IS GIVEN LITTLE CHANCE TO WIN
Coach Noval Walker of Holtville will take his team to Calexico tomorrow night where the Vikings are given but a small chance to score against the rambling Bulldogs of the border town in the valley conference opener.
The Holtville coach has groomed his team on offense and on defense against the Bulldogs attack for the last two weeks. He has built up what can now be called a light team that can make its plays function from the sorry state of greenhorns which confronted Coach Walker last September. The mentor is staking a lot on his squad's passing attack which he thinks will be the only way for the Vikings to gain ground.
Out For Revenge
Calexico on the other hand is out for revenge on every team in the valley, having finished in the cellar position last year. The Bulldogs have the strongest team that they have boasted of for several years and according to the outrageous scores which they have chalked up against pre-season opponents it is beginning to look as if its woe with Holtville.
