New York, Feb. 6.—A special from Pittsburg says the contract has been signed for the delivery of Carnegie holdings in the Carnegie company to Pierpont Morgan. Financiers here accept the statement. Henry Frick will become chairman of the Carnegie board of directors. Frick says he knows nothing of the deal.

DENY KNOWLEDGE.
Pittsburg, Feb. 6.—Carnegie officials here deny any knowledge of the alleged deal between Carnegie and J. P. Morgan. They say:
"Should there be any truth in the publication it will be announced when the interested parties are prepared to give it to the public." It would mean a many million dollar trust.
