Campaign of "Ma" Ferguson made with the "vindication" of husband as an issue and came out first with sailing.
It is true that the Texas legislators impeached the governor or the legislature was the instrument of the people. It has been stated and was possibly pointed out on the stump that the ex-governor would in reality be the power behind the throne.
"Ma" may have a mind of her own but she has already said she expects to take advice from her husband. There is no doubt that the husband will again be in the office to some extent at least. People are as subject to change as is the wind or mercury.
