Unt Hayes tells Packard he must stop,
Mit all te coloured race.

But Grant, he aint, he'll let em no,
Ven conkress it dus meet,
Ven it makes laws. he'll put 'em tro
Dey trembles, ven dey see it.

Vat vill te honest peebles do
Ven "carpet pags" no more
To steal forsakes te "Loyal true."
Unt pred bees for te poor.

Dat turning board much goot vill do
Ven Hayes it tid put in,
Ven he goes on unt puts tings tro
Schust like he dit pegin.

Now let four years schust rool away
Unt ve vill vate Till-den."
Dat "board" vill turn, so sure as day,
Unt Tilden vill get on.

Den gi epi carret pags unt poarts
Unt uch tishonest tings,
De Democrat for President
Vill make us peeples kings.

Now let te peeples of tis lant
