An Accident that Befell Mollie Cramer at Aspen.
Aspen, Colo., June 11.—Mollie, the 10-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Cramer was drowned in Castle Creek last evening. From an eyewitness the representative gathered the following: "While standing near the foot-bridge just below the power house of the Aspen Mining and Smelting company I saw two young girls start across the foot-bridge. Mollie's companion went ahead, and when the little Cramer girl was about midway she lost her balance and fell into the water." It required considerable strength to keep the other girl from jumping in after her. The body floated down about a quarter of a mile, lodging near the state bridge, where it was recovered not more than twenty minutes after the accident. Physicians were called to the house, 135 North street, and did everything in their power to revive the little girl, but all to no effect.
