Plans for the Home-coming week are being consummated daily.

From present indications the capacity of the stadium will be taxed on Friday evening, the date of the K. U. vs. Haskell game.

The pageant to be presented Thursday evening, October 10, in the stadium will be second only to the football game in interest. Many have indicated a preference for the pageant if they could not be present for both events.

The Indian village will be located along the northern part of the Leonard homestead which was recently purchased by Haskell. City water is being put in and electric lights installed.

The parade scheduled for Friday afternoon will be one similar to others which Haskell has sponsored. It will show the present activities of the school and the results thereof in an understandable way.

On the site of the Leonard house there will be a large tent, a sort of a headquarters for the tent village which will come into being early next week.

The visiting Indians desiring to camp will find conveniences provided in the Indian village for their comfort, children as well as Indians. Coming from a man who is acknowledged to be the best in the State when it comes to judging contests of this character, the compliment is indeed a great one. And yet there are people who claim the Government is doing nothing for the Indians. The Pierre Daily Dakotan.

The aim of the meet is to raise the scholastic and athletic standards of the schools, and the accomplishments which were exhibited by the various students show that the aim is being approached to a high degree. By adding the contests in the academic lines it adds another feature and another way of checking the genuine ability of the pupils and the standards of the school from whence they come.

As long as the friendly competition exists and serves as an incentive to enable the students to strive to do better and finer work than they have previously done the meet is worth while.
