A dispatch from Rome says: The sacred college is about to be increased by the nomination of seven new members on the next consistory, which will probably take place on the 31st inst. Their names are as follows: Mgr. Pietro Lasagni, secretary of the congregation of the council, assessor of the santo ufficio and cousin of Cardinal Jacobini, secretary of state; Mgr. Francesco Ricci, new major domo of his holiness; the Most Rev. Edward McCabe, archbishop of Dublin and primate of Ireland; Charles Martial Allemand Lavigerie, archbishop of Algiers; Mgr. Dominic Agostini, patriarch archbishop of Venice; Mgr. Joachim Lluchy Garcia, archbishop of Seville.
