Event Details
For some time a schism, created by differences in politics and religion, and in regard to the management of the funds, has existed in the "United Congregational Society" in Barrington, R. I. Not long since, a member of one portion locked the door in the face of the minister and the portion that adhered to him, and kept the house for his party. Last Sunday, a man of the other side entered with a pair of pistols, with unserviceable locks, and drove out the whole congregation.
