OIL AT MOSCOW.

Actual work for organization of a home company to drill for oil or gas near Moscow has begun.

The promoters are Moscow citizens and farmers living near town.

The proposed well will be operated cooperatively, the plan being to have only local people interested.

C. Butler, a geologist who has spent much time in the oil fields of Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma, has expressed confidence that oil will be found at a depth not to exceed 1200 feet, and possibly at 800 feet.

It is planned to have everything in readiness to begin work the early spring.
