Vancouver, B. C. (ILNS). - Contrary to earlier reports, the International Typographical Union, in eighty-fifth annual convention here, reaffirmed a long-time policy of favoring arbitration in settling disputes with employers.
The convention's committee on laws reported unfavorably on the amendment, and President Claude M. Baker opposed it in speaking before the convention's action. The vote on the committee's unfavorable report was: for, 116; against, 97.
