The London Retail Merchants Association annual Halloween Parade and Masquerade Contest is scheduled for Thursday evening, according to announcements made this week.
The procession starts from the High School Gymnasium and proceeds to High Street, then to Main, South on Main to Center and back to Second and South Main for the judging of the several groups.
Prizes and cash will be awarded to winners in the groups, along with treats for all the kiddies dressed and participating in the evening's gala festivities.
London High School's Band will lead the parade with other marching units including London Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Those in charge warn that the program is too good to tell all about it . . . that it is too good to miss. There are no charges. The parade and contest are treats by London Retail Merchants.
