Postal Employees

Napoleon A. Bachand was elected president of Putnam Postal Employees Saturday night in Hotel Putnam and a joint meeting, social gathering and turkey menu dinner of the local organization and auxiliary. There was a gathering of 36.

Associated officers named were: Vice President. Adolphus Montigny; financial secretary, H. E Bonin; treasurer, Adolphus A. Gregoire; entertainment committee. Mrs. Albert Lachapelle. Mrs. M. Bonneville, A. Brodeur, R. F. Joyal, and Henry Hurdman: improvement committee Aldor Guertin, Adolphus A. Gregoire and Napoleon A. Bachand

At the joint business session. the Blue Cross Hospitalization plan was explained, all members signing up. A challenge was received and accepted for a bowling tourney from the Southbridge. Mass., postal employees. Details and a schedule will be worked out later

At the informal social session, songs by Henry Hurdman were featured.
