Extract of a Letter from London, May 14, 1757.

It is expected the Parliament will be adjourned in about a Week. I mentioned the Sudden Revolution that had happened in the Ministry the Day before my last, which is not yet settled, but said will be as follows: The Duke of Newcastle first Lord of the Treasury, in the Room of the Duke of Devonshire, who is to be Master of the Horse, his former Place: Duke of Dorset Lord Chamberlain, in the Room of the Duke of Grafton deceased: Mr. Pitt, and Lord Holdernesse, Secretaries of State; Mr. Legge Chancellor of the Exchequer; Earl of Hardwick to be restored to the Office of Lord Chancellor: Duke of Bedford Lord Lieut. of Ireland: the Earl of Winchelsea first Lord of the Admiralty; Lord Digby, and Mr. Potter, Paymasters General of the Forces.
