Brother Burr:—I would inform my dear brethren and the numerous readers of the Star, that the Lord is still moving on the hearts of his people in Potter Co. Penn.; and to the praise and glory of God, the people seem to rejoice in a free and full salvation. The causes of Temperance and Liberty are gaining ground. The day seems to be dawning. The Lord God hasten the time when every son and daughter of Adam may walk unmolested under the cheering rays of the sun of liberty. Brethren, let us be more engaged for God's suffering poor. Let our cries, our groans and tears be mingled at the mercy seat, and that God would send them speedy deliverance. I feel, for my part, that I have been too negligent and careless about this all important subject, and I feel the burning blush of shame dye my cheeks while I write it.
