MET WITH AN ACCIDENT—Mrs. J. W. Calhoun is lying on her bed at her home on West Fifth street as the result of an accident near Siloam Friday. She and her husband were returning from their ranch and while driving up a steep hill, the horse walked too close to the edge of the road and the wagon and the occupants were precipitated down a ten foot embankment, striking rocks as they fell. Her back is swollen and she is bruised all over the body. Mr. Calhoun's injuries are not severe, but he is very sore. He was able to get up and walk three-fourths of a mile to the Strickland ranch to summon assistance.
