Thirty-three Delegates Picked, But Only Few Of Them Plan To Attend
Thirty-three delegates and, an equal number of alternates were selected at the Democratic convention last Saturday to represent the county at the state convention in Raleigh tomorrow afternoon, but only two or three of them are expected to attend because of the tire and gasoline restrictions.
Since the only purpose of the convention was to select these delegates, attendance at the meeting was small. However, most every township in the county was represented.
Delegates were chosen upon recommendations of township representatives.
Chairman J. B. Hash presided and there was no speech-making.
