Legislative Candidate Impressed by Valley

W. W. Robbins of Pasco, Democratic candidate for state representative from the 16th district, visited in Hanford and White Bluffs for a short time Saturday afternoon.

"I am greatly impressed by this valley," said Dr. Robbins. "With an irrigation district such as you have here, there is nothing that can keep your valley from going ahead. If, at any time, this district wishes to borrow money from the state reclamation fund, in the event I am elected to the legislature. I will do everything in my power to aid it. as the state could find no better use for this fund than to lend money to a self-sustaining project such as you have."

Dr. Robbins also expressed himself as being whole-heartedly in favor of the east-west road from Spokane to Yakima through this valley.
