Have Got Large Families.

A number of men sat in a Plainfield street grocery store late last evening talking over Old Home Week and the number of folks that they entertained. One of them said that the honor of entertaining was due Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Chapdelaine of Whittier avenue, as they had no less than 14 at their table at mealtime, and this was not during Old Home Week, but every day of every week. The little party were ready to vote the honor to Mr. and Mrs. Chapdelaine, who have just a dozen well-bred and well-dressed offspring, when another man from the town of Johnston broke in and said that a house painter whose name he could not recall could go the Chapdelaines just one better, for when the entire family sat at the dinner table there were just 15 toes under the table. Mr. Chapdelaine is foreman of the carpentering department of the Gilbane Brothers, and a large photograph of his interesting family decorates their parlor.
