Bills are out announcing a big political rally at Star City Auditorium, Sunday, October 3 at 5:00 p. m.
Jean Capers, the only Negro woman member of the City Council of Cleveland, Ohio and member of the National Democratic speakers bureau, will speak in the interest of Delegate Ernest Robertson, Democratic candidate for Congress from the Sixth Congressional District.

1932 to 1937; Graduated from Law school 1945; appointed assistant Police Prosecutor, Criminal Division, Law Department, City of Cleveland from 1946 to 1949; Elected to City Council of Cleveland in 1949 and is now serving her third time on the Council. She is a member of the Cuyahoga County and National Bar Associations; Member of the National Council of Negro Women; American Cancer Society; Society for Crippled and Retarded Children; a low cost housing development project named for her, Jean M. Capers Home. Fort Worth. Texas in 1953.
Mrs. Capers has been a close political associate of Congressman William L. Dawson of Chicago for the past eight years. She has been selected as a speaker on many occasions by the National Democratic Speakers Bureau.
